If you want to look like a member of the Royal Family, you’ll have to step up your game. Because you wouldn’t caught dead any of the Royals wearing a tracksuit and flip-flops. So our first advice to you addresses your mindset.

When you know how you want to look and dress, everything else comes much easier. Why? Because your mind is focused on it. Of course you won’t be able to dress exactly like Meghan if you’re not rich, but there are always cheaper alternatives that deliver the same results.

Yes, we know those super high-end and super expensive coats Meghan usually uses are not for everyone’s pocket. But we want to focus more on the concept here. Forget about comfy looking cheap coats (even if you love them). You want to go for a more professional style here.

Classic trenches and long coats are always spot on, but the real game changers here are the double breasted coats. Stylish, minimalistic and, above everything else, perfect for almost every occasion you might have to face.

Most looks are all about accesories, but if you want to dress like Meghan Markle, you won’t have to be that worried about them. Because our favourite Duchess is not a big fan of them. Yes, she can be seen wearing some sometimes, but they’re never the star of her looks. Instead, Meghan uses neutral colors and minimalistic accesories so they just lift up the outfit.

Same thing goes for bags, neutral solid colors, nothing too crazy. Size-wise the Duchess is much more flexible rocking small and bigs bags alike. But her staple look always includes a leather bag, just saying…

A good skirt can make wonders. Elevate the classic classy look combining your favourite skirt with boots and a nice coat and you’ll be ready to face the world. Put on your shopping shoes and start looking for a couple of midi skirts in your preferred fabric. Leather always works like a charm, but try out some flared silouettes or silk ones for summer days.

But if you don’t want to go too crazy for now, some wool ones will look as good. And since they will be easier to mix and match, you could pair them with virtually everything in your wardrobe.

Because shirts and jerseys (specially turtlenecks) are the perfect centerpiece for a seriously great looking outfit. Why? They reflect matureness, that you care for your looks and last, but not least, that you know how to dress like an adult.
